Kerstklokjes haken / Crochet Christmas bells

Precies 4 jaar geleden, op de dag af, heb ik met jullie mijn haakpatroon van de kerstklokjes gedeeld. En nu is het tijd om dit patroon eens te gaan vertalen. Ik merk dat ik veel Engelstalige lezers/lezeressen heb, die ik graag tegemoet kom. Ik denk er al langer over om mijn patronen te vertalen, maar ja, tijd, hè? Dat blijft toch wel een lastige. Dus maak ik er nu een avond tijd voor vrij om dit voor jullie te doen. En zoals jullie zien, blog ik vanaf nu ook tweetalig. Om dezelfde reden.

Do you have time and do you like it to crochet a few Christmas Bells?

English pattern Christmas Bells (US terms)

You need:
- rest of yarn
- crochetneedle 3 mm or what you need for your yarn
- stitchmarker

Stitches: double crochet (dc)

I crochet this pattern in rounds after each other. So use the stitchmarker to mark the start of the round.

Large Christmas Bell (6 cm; 2,36 inch)

To start: make a magic ring and crochet 5 dc in the ring.
1. Crochet 2 dc in every single dc (10 dc)
2. *1 dc, 2 dc in the next stitch*, repeat from *-* to the end of the row (15 dc)
3. *1 dc [2 times], 2 dc in the next stitch*, repeat from *-* to the end of the row (20 dc)
4-10. 1 dc in every single dc (20 dc)
11. *1 dc [4 times], 2 dc in the next stitch*, repeat from *-* to the end of the row (24 dc)
12. *1 dc [2 times], 2 dc in the next stitch*, repeat from *-* to the end of the row (32 dc)
13. *1 dc [3 times], 2 dc in the next stitch*, repeat from *-* to the end of the row (40 dc)
Cut off the yarn and sew in the tail end. The tail, which comes from the magic ring, I used to attach a little bell. First cut the yarntail to the correct length! Than make a little hanging loop at the top.

Small Christmas Bell (3,5 cm; 1,38 inch)

To start: make a magic ring and crochet 5 dc in the ring.
1. Crochet 2 dc in every single dc (10 dc)
2. *1 dc, 2 dc in the next stitch*, repeat from *-* to the end of the row (15 dc)
3-7. 1 dc in every single dc (15 dc)
8. *1 dc [2 times], 2 dc in the next stitch*, repeat from *-* to the end of the row (20 dc)
9. *1 dc, 2 dc in the next stitch*, repeat from *-* to the end of the row (30 dc)
Cut off the yarn and sew in the tail end. The tail, which comes from the magic ring, I used to attach a little bell. First cut the yarntail to the correct length! Than make a little hanging loop at the top.
